What a weekend for the Maverick Roughriders!
The boys capped off an incredible provincial tournament run, finishing 2nd in D2T1 — climbing 10 spots from where we were seeded, and officially ending the season ranked 18th in the province.
This team battled through every match:
Quarterfinals: took down Maverick Pacers in a thriller going the distance
(25-20, 23-25, 16-14)
Semifinals: strong performance vs Kingston
(25-23, 25-22)
Finals: fell just short against Scorpions Surge in a tight match
(24-26, 23-25)
This also marks the end of the journey for 3 of our 11 athletes. We salute them for their commitment, leadership, and everything they’ve given to the program. Your impact goes far beyond the court.
