“Be a Goldfish” is a philosophy popularized by Ted Lasso urging people to let go of mistakes quickly and move on – much like the 10-second memory of a goldfish. To the Palominos team, it means forgiving yourself, releasing negativity, and not dwelling on setbacks. The intent of embracing this philosophy is to foster happiness, develop resilience, and result in better overall performance.
The Palominos were able to successfully realize this at the 18U Girls OVA Grand Prix / Bugarski Cup, where the team ended a great weekend with their first gold medal! The girls went undefeated over the course of the two days, never giving up in many close matches against very tough competition!! – Coach Dave
