This season tested us in every possible way.
There were moments where success felt far away. The Bandits battled through difficult tournaments, tough losses, injuries, frustrations, and long weekends where results did not always reflect the effort these boys were putting in every single day. Even after winning a tournament in Gatineau after the holidays, we still struggled to break through at OVA events, never getting past the quarterfinals.
But the Maverick Bandits never stopped working.
They kept showing up. They kept believing. They kept learning how to compete, how to fight through adversity, and how to grow together as a team.
And in the end, they finished stronger than anyone could have imagined.
A Provincial Championship gold medal.
An Atlantic Nationals silver medal.
A Nationals final that went the distance to 3 hard-fought sets.
What makes this season special is not just the medals — it’s the journey. The resilience these athletes showed. The character they built. The way they stayed together when things were hard.
This team proved that growth is not always linear. Sometimes the toughest seasons build the strongest teams.
Couldn’t be prouder of this group, our staff, and all the families who supported the boys every step of the way. The results at the end were earned through months of perseverance, commitment, and belief in one another.
