Sitting Volleyball

Maverick Sitting Volleyball aims to address the current lack of accessible, inclusive sport opportunities for individuals with disabilities in our community. While sitting volleyball is a growing parasport nationally and internationally, there are limited entry points to the sport. This gap prevents individuals with disabilities from also experiencing the social, emotional, and developmental benefits of adaptive sport. aims to remove participation barriers, and create a fun, skill-building environment for everyone.

Maverick Sitting Volleyball aims to:

1. Create an entry point that introduces individuals to the basic, fundamental skills of
   sitting volleyball.
2. Create a fun, skill-building environment for everyone.
3. Remove participation barriers for individuals with disabilities.

Fees are set on a per-athlete basis for the whole season. The fees are to cover facility costs only. The hope is to keep the cost of the program to a minimum to provide more opportunities for everyone to participate. Any additional tournament and travel costs will be up to each athlete per event.

Financial Assistance (by application — with the Club) and Instalment plans (LeagueApps) will be available for athletes/families.
