Tryout Registration is open for our Winter Competitive Training Centre.
Tryout dates: January 14th and January 21st. Athletes should attend both on-court sessions for your age group to ensure a comprehensive assessment of skills and attitude. We will size everyone who attends tryouts to ensure we have correct Uniform Sizing. You will be given a time for sizing as well as for on-court evaluations.
Tryout Fees:
Early Bird (until January 7) $55 (+HST)
Regular (January 8-13) $75 (+HST)
Tryout schedule: This will be updated once the schedule is finalized. Please check here or with our Program Coordinator for updates. Starting Times will be anywhere between 8AM to 6PM on both Jan 14 and 21
All athletes must attend tryouts based on their year of birth. Athletes who would benefit by playing at a different age group will be identified by the evaluators of their age group and addressed with coaches of the new age group, parents and athlete.

What age division do I fall into for the 2023/24 season?
The designated age category is based on a player’s birth date, however, an extended date range allows some players to try to play up or down a level, based on the best fit for athlete development. During tryouts, your coach can make recommendations if they feel a player should be in a more beneficial age group than what you have registered for.

11U – born in 2013
12U – born in 2012
13U – born in 2011
14U – born in 2010
15U – born in 2009
16U – born in 2008
17U – born in 2007
WHERE: The gyms we use for tryouts will be at ESC Franco Cité (back of the school, off the east side parking lot).
OFFERS: Athletes will be offered a position in the CTC shortly after the end of tryouts. The CTC starts February 1 and runs until mid-May.
SAFETY NET: Families who are new to the competitive side of the club, may wish to also register for a Block 3 Learn to Play or Recreational program before those spots fill up. Athletes who are selected for a CTC program can then cancel their LTP/Rec spot for a full refund.
