The Maverick Volleyball Club is committed to promoting and supporting excellence among its athletes – both on and off the court. To reward the hard work of athletes who proudly wear the Maverick jersey, we are pleased to announce a new initiative to award a $2000 scholarship to one 18UG player and one 18UB player who exemplify Maverick core values.
Applicants must demonstrate excellence in academics, volleyball, and community involvement. They must also be committed to play with a post-secondary volleyball team after high school (college and university programs will be considered).
• Complete the Scholarship of Excellence application form (download from the link below).
• Submit letters of reference from people who can validate your academic excellence and community involvement. Your coach will be contacted by the selection committee.
Application deadline is May 1st annually.
Winners will be announced at the Maverick Year-end Banquet.
