Save the date: June 2 is the date of the year-end Beach Day BBQ for junior Provincial and National Teams.
The season wrap-up BEACH DAY/ BBQ to wrap up for junior teams is back!
DATE – June 2nd
LOCATION – MAX Volley, 813 Shefford Road, Gloucester, ON K1J 8H9 (behind SensPlex)
TIME – 09:00 – 12:30
There is no cost to athletes and coaches, but parents are welcome to stick around but if you haven’t already signed up to purchase extra meals (deadline was May 12th), just bring your own food and drinks (and maybe a sun umbrella).
Arm-Swing Clinic @ Max Volley
After lunch on June 2nd, the Arm-Swing Clinic for 11U-14U girls and boys takes over the MaxVolley courts starting at 1:30pm.
We negotiated a discounted rate for this clinic ($125) and only Maverick athletes may attend. The clinic is put on by the Athlete Wellness Academy. Almost sold out, so please sign up soon.
This clinic will prepare athletes for the rigours of future seasons of play and help save your shoulder from potential damage through repetitive overuse. Start good habits now.
