Development Coach (In Training)
Kaleigh is a national-gold winning club volleyball player with FCVC, bringing years of high-level competitive experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed. Her playing career has shaped her strategic mindset and passion for the game, which she continues to share with the volleyball community in Ottawa.
This is Kaleigh’s first season with our organization, joining us after head coaching Cégep Champlain – St. Lawrence’s women’s volleyball team in Quebec City and, most recently, coaching with the 18U Jr. Dinos in Calgary.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every athlete deserves a space to grow, challenge themselves, and fall in love with the sport with the process. I strive to create a team environment that values effort, resilience, and mutual respect – where athletes feel safe to take risks and proud to celebrate each other’s wins. I also believe that coaching is not a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why I make an effort to develop a connection with each athlete, enabling me to coach them in a way that resonates most with their learning process and enables them to reach their full potential on and off the court. I aim to develop not just skilled volleyball players, but confident individuals who will be athletes for life.
