The 13U Maverick Sidewinders took part in the 14U National Championships this year. Despite a slow start with three losses on the first day, they bounced back strongly, remaining undefeated on day two. Their confidence soared, leading them to dominate in the playoffs, overcoming older and taller teams and ultimately clinching the top spot on the podium in their tier.
Congratulations to the Sidewinders on their hard-earned and well-deserved gold medal finish to the 2023-24 season.
Other highlights this season include a strong showing at the 13U Ontario Provincial Championships and a 1st place finish in the 13U Quebec Provincial Championships in division 2.
