Development Coach (In Training)
My mantra as a coach is: Consistency pays off.
At this point in my coaching career, I am striving to build a rapport with athletes that helps tap into a wholistic approach to volleyball and how the skills we learn in the gym are transferable to the real world. I have a keen interest in helping athletes gain insight into the value of practicing consistency in both life skills and volleyball with the overall goal of coaching volleyball for life.
As both a coach and a player I have given this game so much of my life (20 + years) & it has rewarded me bountifully with skills, abilities, friends, and experiences I would have never had the opportunity to develop had I not had coaches who consistently saw my potential for what it could be, rather than who I thought I was.
I’d like to close with my favourite quote, one I hold as a core value; “A good coach can change a game, but a great coach can change a life”.
