Playing History

I began my life-long love for volleyball with Mavericks having been a competitive player with the club from 2013 to 2018. I remain an active recreational player in both indoor and outdoor leagues across Ottawa. 

Coaching Experience

Transitioning from player to coach, I am now a trained developmental coach with assistant coach and head coach experience throughout the Mavericks recreational and competitive programs. I began my coaching journey with the Learn-to-Play and Smashball Youth programs in 2019. I then moved into coaching my first team in the Competitive Training Centre program (CTC) in 2022. This led me to the assistant coach role on my first provincial competitive team in 2024.

Coaching Philosophy

With a strong foundation in competitive play and a dedication to supporting athletes where they are in their journey, I bring a wealth of experience, tenacity and enthusiasm to my coaching role. I am a life-long learner dedicated to mentoring athletes and showing up as a role-model that demonstrates values of perseverance, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
