Friday report- Penn Style

2018 / 02 / 23

The 17u Rangers had the early morning wake-up call today after a long bus ride from Ottawa. They got off to a super start as the #8 seed winnning their first two convincingly over LIVC and TVP North however they hit a speed bump vs #9 seed Coastal VB  Blue losing in a tight two setter.

Arriving to start their day at 3:00 in the evening wave the Mustangs rolled over their pool of First Captial (Wash D.C>) Coastal VB Vierginia and Syracuse VBC all in straight sets. This keeps the #5 seed in play for the boys.

Also in the PM wave were the Longhorns who also swept their pool with wins over Richmand VA, Coastal and Rochester Pace in straight sets. The only loss was in the final set when rookie sensation Dillan DiTomaso blew a tire in the second set forcing Lefty Kylar Code to make the emergency transition to MB for the remainder.

All in All a good day for the red and white a little south of the border.

“ The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. ”
