Strength Training Begins

Maverick Strength Training

Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Time: 5:30 - 7pm
Gym:  Capital Strength Training Systems
Location: 2190 Thurston Drive

Upon arrival and before commencing, you will need to fill out a waiver and have a parent sign it if you are younger than 18 years old. Everyone in the program will be given a book with a program in it that suits their needs based on their age and training experience. We expect a range of ages from 14-18 years old. Two strength coaches will be on the floor, facilitating the program and helping with technique for all the athletes.  

The mandatory warm up session begins at 5:30 with a trainer.

A second strength trainer joins the group at 6pm to begin each 3-day program.

All athletes of all age groups will begin training together on the gym floor between 6-7pm. The gym is large, and athletes will be split into age groups as the training gets further underway. Younger athletes will focus on the importance of performing movements in specific form in order to reduce injury both during work-outs and on the court floor. Age and gender will be key factors in their specific programs.

The sessions will end at 7pm.

There is still time to register as this program runs every week until October.
